I have not installed any drivers for the USB other than the initial drivers Windows 7 installed. Nothing at all that hints to what the problem is. The event viewer is completely useless in finding out any information that could have caused the crash. 100% load, no processes adding to full load. Today, I was attempting to drag some video files off my PSP (using the USB) when again, the same problem arose. I attributed it to my TV tuner (Happauge 980, USB stick), and stopped watching tv. In the task manager, the CPU load would be under full 100% load, but no processes would show even close to the load, or added to full load. I attempted to replicate the issue, with success, although I took a bit longer of watching tv. The sound would stutter, the screen would slow, the mouse would respond, but eventually the machine would just freeze. A few minutes of watching tv, the entire OS would crash. I first noticed it when I was watching tv using Windows Media Center. Display: 31.5 in, VA, Edge LED, 1920 x 1080 pixels, Viewing angles (H/V): 178 / 178, Refresh rate: 50 Hz / 60 Hz, Frame interpolation: 1000 PQI (Picture Quality Index), TV tuner: Analog (NTSC/PAL/SECAM), DVB-T. Digital and streaming are just making it harder to skip, keep strictly separate from content, and receive anonymously.This issue has popped up a few times since my install of Windows 7 (64 bit). There's never going to be a net decrease in advertising. My favorite type of advertising is traditional TV commercials that can be fast forwarded or muted and fully skipped. I wouldn't buy a TV if it required an internet connection to function. Or is this a fundamental part of the UI for a Samsung TV that you need to interact with for daily use even if you don't want content through Samsung? Because that would be unacceptable. Of course they're tracking what you watch for advertising purposes. This screenshot looks like a streaming content interface, and data mining you has been a fundamental part of all these services for years, right? Not saying it's great, just that this isn't new or unusual. Is this a Samsung app that you would never see if you have no interest in smart apps and leave your TV off the internet? Because if so that's easily avoided, Netflix would also profile me and advertise content to me through its app, and I don't plan to ever open that one either. I didn't particularly want an OLED panel which is why I went for a Samsung LCD, and I regret that decision regularly. LG pull this shit too, but I think they're slightly less awful than Samsung. I have a laundry list of issues with this TV, which is a shame because when it's not actively trying to make me hate the company it's actually a very nice display.
